Emilie Sclater

UKCP Trainee Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Emilie, a late-diagnosed AuDHD trainee psychotherapist registered with UKCP. Having discovered my neurodivergence around the time I began retraining as a psychotherapist, ADHD and autism have become an enduring special interest. I am currently in my third year of training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and have been seeing clients in my placement since September 2024 and in private practice since September 2025. In addition to training in Transactional Analysis, I am always exploring and expanding my skills and experience so that I can draw upon these in a way which best suits each individual client.

As a result of my own neurodivergence and special interest, the majority of the clients I work with are also neurodivergent. I have experience working with clients who are ADHD, autistic, AuDHD, dyslexic and who have FND, some of whom are also parents to neurodivergent children, and with clients who think they might be neurodivergent and/or are going through the process of seeking diagnosis.

I am passionate about working neuro-affirmatively with my clients with authenticity, curiosity and empathy.
