Helen Edgar is late-identified Autistic. She is an autism advocate, author, consultant, former SEND teacher, and parent to two neurodivergent children.

In 2022, she founded Autistic Realms, a platform offering neurodiversity-affirming resources, training, and consultancy. Helen’s work is grounded in lived experience, and she has a special interest in the theory of monotropism, burnout, and inclusive education.
