Kate Grayson

Sensory and Behavioural Specialist

Kate is a specialist Occupational Therapist and founder of Therapeeze: The InnerMe Project and Inner Explorers. With over 18 years’ experience supporting neurodivergent children and those who experienced early life trauma, she’s known for replacing outdated behaviourist approaches with connection-centred, neuroscience-led, interoception-focused practice.

Frustrated by the limits of overstretched services, Kate stepped out to build practical, evidence-driven tools that actually help children feel safe in their own bodies. Her Build the Bridge framework sits at the heart of her work and includes her signature InnerMe approaches: the Regulation Rhythmâ„¢, R.H.Y.T.H.M.â„¢, and her interoception-first way of understanding behaviour, supporting families and professionals to see the body behind the behaviour, not the “bad choices.”

Whether she’s training professionals, advocating for children through EHCP work, or creating playful early-years resources, Kate brings straight-talking honesty, creativity, and deep compassion to everything she does. Her mission is simple: change the conversation around behaviour and give every child a fair chance to thrive.
